I Love Cats

"I LIKE CATS TOO, LETS EXCHANGE RECIPES."

I just wanted to share what I found on a blog named Winklepots which you can find here

I am a pet lover...I have had too many dogs and cats to count in my whole life and far too many other animals too. My grandad used to rescue every stray he could find so we almost had a whole zoo in our little farm / villa.

I do have 2 dogs and a bunny which are part of my family today... but this one is just "belly laugh" funny. I spent ages laughing at this one!

Disclaimer: Please don't place you pets in the oven!!!!!

HANDMADE CAMBRIDGE FAIR

I finally managed to download the pics for the Handmade Cambridge!

Here is my stall! I wasn't as prepared as I would have liked to be and space was limited, but considering it was my first time at a craft fair I don't think I did bad at all!

I do hope to be better prepared for the next one but with all that is going on, its gonna be a tough one! For more pics of this fair and other events just click on the photo link on the right.

I did meet some really nice people and saw some really nice stuff and have a bit of a wish list which I don't have £ for cause I am so strapped lately, specially with the baby coming in less than 2 months!

We will be at the Handmade Oxford Craft Fair in November!

Let me know if you were there & if you enjoyed it!

Cuteness for my cutie coming!

OOOOOhhhhhh aren't these cute!?

I couldn't resist these cuties, I saw them on Misi in Pink Fairy Cake Shop.

They were a little different though, they were lighter pink and made in regular yarn. I requested this custom pair in a lovely bamboo yarn which is mega soft and silky, ideal for babies.

The shade of yarn is called Cherry lips I believe, aren't they soooo adorable! They look a bit like Crocs which makes them ubber cute.

As you probably know by now I am expecting a little girl soon. I am almost 32 weeks so I have just under 2 months to get everything ready and I am struggling to be honest!!! Anyone want to come and help?

I still have so many bits to buy still and not enough time and money!!!

I can't wait for my baby shoes to arrive though!!!

Perfect Little Purses at H@ndmade Cambridge

I went as a seller to do the H@andmade Cambridge Fair on the 4/4 which was last Saturday, I still have to update you on that soon!

I was 30 weeks pregnant (now 31 weeks) and we allready know its a little girl! Since I was setting up I couldn't keep my eyes off this little bunny!

There were quite a few bunnies on the table along with some cute purses and handbags but I just couldn't keep my eyes off this little cutie!
(I "borrowed" PLP's pic, hope they don't mind! ;) )

I didn't really have money to spend but I asked my dad to ask for me how much they were. My dad came back telling me to go choose one that he would get it for me!!!! Yay!!! I went and chose her but I must admit I was tempted with all the others too, it was kind of hard to definitely just take her home with me but I couldn't take them all!!!

This is a celebratory moment though because this is the first thing my dad bought for my daughter! My mum and dad already gifted her crib also but obviously this is the one thing she can keep forever and ever and pass on to her family also.

With my son, my dad also bought him a starbucks golf bear! It was the only thing he could find around Chelsea & Westminster hospital in London where I gave birth to my little Stefan almost 3 years ago now! But it is cherished all the same because it was my dad's first gift to my bundle of joy.

Well, you can be sure that this little bunny is gonna be the first thing I am gonna give to my Mylie when she comes into the world!

If you want your own bunny cuteness, pop over to Perfect Little Purses on Etsy and get yourself one! She also has a blog here which she posted a pic of all the bunnies she had at the fair on Wednesday... I was tempted by the little bunny in the blue dress too here she is.

I guess you knew I was nuts about bunnies by now!!!

Lots & Lots added to MISI shop

I am very pleased to say I have managed to update my recently opened Misi Shop which you can find here!

I was recommended Misi by a fellow crafter and thought it was a really cool website for the UK as I haven't been too keen on Folksy. Misi has a really good layout and features, also cheap to list and commission is quite low too!
The forums are great and the people really great too! I have already bought a few bits on there too and it was very easy to do transaction from a buyers point of view.
Also very good on the seller side as well as great fees, it is also real easy to list and you get views straight away even though the website is quite new!

People can buy from anywhere in the world and pay by paypal as well!
So after all the hustle and bustle of the shows I finally had time to update the shop... I will be updating my etsy shop as well very soon and then I will be taking pics of all the other new bits I have been making to upload too! Wow, how much I have to do!
In the meanwhile I also need to get everything ready for the arrival of our baby and give my son a great 3rd birthday party! I have already sent out the invitations but still have everything else to plan!!! AAAAHHHH!!! Lol
Don't forget anytime you want to peek at our shops just click on our shop links on your right!
And if you are feeling lucky don't forget to enter this month's give away!!!

HANDMADE CRAFT FAIR INVITATION!

We are very excited to be attending our first ever HANDMADE only craft fair! Also extremely nervous as I havent had as much time as I wanted to prepare for it!!!
Well, having just recently started the business recently, being 30 weeks pregnant, preparing to move and having my almost 3 yr old son running around its been tough! Having good & tough times with my hormones all over the place!
I will be there though, will be great to get feedback from customers and get a feel for it all.
I have many items made, although not on the internet shops as I haven't had the time to put them there, they look lovely, I am just very demanding of myself and wanted to have more stuff ready. I tried to have many different things made to represent what I do!
I do have many more things to make and can't wait to have a full shop with all my items and ideas!
I am very pleased though, apart from throwing myself into the deep end, I have managed to get my stuff accepted to be stocked in a shop! So I must be doing something right!
Hope to see you at the fair! Monica xx
