What to get my 19 Yr old brother????
Ok, I officially have a crisis...
Its my youngest brothers birthday on the 28th of this month and I haven't managed to get him anything yet...yes, I know, I have 2 days... I have already told him his gift might be late.
He is the hardest to buy a gift for out of my 3 brothers...so far I have managed to give him a tshirt or footie stuff on EVERY special occasion...I officially suck now!
Last Christmas I asked my mum and apparently he wanted some bling, some "man" earrings to be exact, so I went in search and bought him two pairs...for me they all looked the same but he seemed to be pretty pleased.
Its now his 19th birthday and being the big sister I wanted to give him a meaningful present, although I am strapped for cash and can't afford much right now, I want this present to be different!
I thought of some dog tags with a custom message, something like "Big Little Bro" because he is the youngest of us but yet the biggest! I have looked on Misi, Etsy, Coriandr, Artfire, Zibbet, Folksy and up to now no luck!!!!
I am really up for suggestions! Some ladies in Twitter suggested IwantOneofThose.com and I went there but couldn't see anything that wouldn't be tossed a side (within budget) so I quit on there!
I have no clue though!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! Please help!!!
Hi Ho Hi Ho to work I go.....

Twitter Addict
They say the first step to recovery is to admit you are addicted...So...I am a Tweeter addict!!!
There, I said it! It all started innocently, I had set up a tweeter account ages ago and never really went on it...until I discovered a Twitter application for my iPhone!
For some silly reason my new baby girl feeds much better (and amazingly gets less wind!) if I breast feed her laying in bed, so naturally I get bored while doing this so started tweeting away and now this is my vice while b'feeding!
It's addictive, it's like when you have something on auction on eBay! You just have to keep on constantly checking!!!
I must say there are some wonderful people on there!
One of them being Karin that runs www.cafebebe.co.uk, which is an awesome website, it even has great competitions to enter! There is also a great page on there with loads of businesses run by mummies like me...I'm on there too!
So go and visit www.cafebebe.co.uk

Swine Flu Recovery
You all know my 3 year old son caught the Swine Flu which I told you about in my previous post.
I am very pleased to report that he is now over it thanks to the Tamiflu capsules! He did a course of 5 days on those which was not easy to "trick" him to take!
Thank God he made a full recovery now and he is all nice and happy again!
Thanks for all your support.

Swine Flu
We all know about the swine flu and specially us with little ones indoors are mortified by it!
My 3 year old son has been sick since about Thursday with fever, he's been getting better with Nurofen for kids but eventually the fever creeps back...he then started getting some phlem, a cough and a sore throat.
I have given him Nurofen, Calpol, some sweeties and syrup for his throat.
This morning he was burning up with fever again so I though I better call NHS Direct Helpline to get some advice.
So indeed I did and explained everything, they asked me some questions and then advised me to call the Pandemic Helpline. When I did they also asked me some questions and at the end they gave me a reference number to go and get the Tamiflu capsules for my son from the local swine flu clinic.
I went running like mad to get the capsules leaving my son and my 7 wk old baby girl with my grandparents (left on tip toes so my son wouldn't notice I left otherwise there would be crying galore!).
To my luck when I get there (out of breath and looking like I'm homeless lol) they tell me that I need the ID of both me and my son, which I didn't have!
So here I go again, running like mad to get home and pick up our ID's and back again... All this stressing about my son and my daughter because if she woke up she would need breast feeding and she was already asleep for 4 hours so she could wake up any min!
When I got there luckily there was no one in front so I got served straight away and ran back home again like a mad woman!
Luckily my little one was still asleep and I managed to give my son the medication mixed with a spoonful of yoghurt.
As you imagine I am absolutely terrified, not only for my son but for my 7 wk old girl too. On top of that my family has all been in contact with my son while sick and my untie is currently in labour!
I pray that everything and everyone will be fine and thank all my Twitter followers for all their support so far.
I will let you know what happens.
